Bank Teller

Georgia First Bank is a 119-year-old community bank that proudly serves its customers in two locations. We are looking for an outgoing, hardworking person to grow our team in our main office in Soperton, Georgia. Our tellers serve as one of the first faces of Georgia First Bank and greatly impact the customer’s experience throughout our bank. The applicant must possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

This position consists of tellers receiving checks and cash for deposit, verifying amounts & examining checks for endorsements. Tellers will be required to cash checks after verification of signature and customer balances are determined. In addition, tellers will also be required to input customer transactions, place holds on accounts for uncollected funds, ordering daily supply of cash that balances at the end of each day as compared with the data on the computer network. The position will also process night drops and mail deposits, explain other bank products to customers via in person or over the telephone when necessary. Tellers are always on alert for being able recognize counterfeit bills. This job will provide other areas of work not mentioned in the above description. This position is a full-time position with rotating Saturdays.
