A native of Toombs County, Michael serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer for Georgia First Bank. Michael joined Georgia First Bank in 2018 and has 18 years of banking experience. Michael attended Georgia Southern University on scholarship as a member of the baseball program, graduating in 2004 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. He is currently in year two of the Graduate School of Banking at LSU.

Michael’s hobbies include spending time with his family, restoring classic vehicles, going to NHRA races and hunting.
